Time series are omnipresent in our businesses: power and gas consumption and forecasts, production realized and forecasts, weather forecasts, market prices ... pretty much every business object we manipulate end up represented as a time series. And we know it's a challenge for our IS to manipulate this data efficiently.

We are convinced that the amount of data represented in these time series will grow tremendously in the future, as time granularity becomes thinner on energy markets, and as we'll grow our renewable assets parks.

WIND AND SOLAR CHALLENGE: 

The Wind and Solar Challenge: your team will have to compute different aggregated metrics based on wind and solar real-time production and forecast data. This data gets updated frequently, so being able to recompute aggregated metrics quickly will certainly be a part of this challenge.

CONSUMPTION DATA VISUALIZATION CHALLENGE:

The Consumption Data Visualization Challenge: your team will be asked to restitute the aggregation consumption of our clients. Clients can have many delivery points and a time granularity of up to 30 minutes. The challenge will be to aggregate the data across delivery points quickly, and to timescale easily. Showing the result on a flexible chart will be appreciated!

POSITION MANAGEMENT CHALLENGE:

The Position Management Challenge: your team will have to build a solution computing the aggregated delivery matrices of our deals, with a drill-down capacity using various axes. Being able to rebuild the full dataset from scratch will be a part of the challenge.

Each of these challenges will come with a set of data representing our current volumes plus a set of data representing the volumes we expect in the coming years.
